Well… I hate to say it but if you’re looking at higher education from a purely ‘what’s in it for me?’ standpoint, you should go into engineering. In fact, you should go into the following engineering fields:

The only non-engineering option to this list is… Physics and Economics! So, if you can combine engineering, physics & economics, my guess is that you’ll be set for life! 😛 Of course, we’re talking about disciplines that are very much math based. So, better get your (advanced) calculus up to par! Not surprisingly, the lowest paying degrees are in Arts! 🙁 …You can probably guess what I graduated with… 🙁
